The Bellco Theatre is a 5,000 seat place that's been designed as one of the most technically innovative theaters of its type. This venue gives the best acoustics for concerts, lecture sessions and household spectaculars.
At first, the place (and all the City Lights Pavilion) was protested by the owner of this Paramount Theatre felt important company would be attracted away in the historical landmark. Since its launching, the place has become among the busiest midsize concert places from Metro Denver, along with the Fillmore Auditorium and 1stBank Center. The place was named among those"Top 100 Worldwide Theatres" from Pollstar at 2007 and 2011.
The venue opened March 1, 2005, using its very first occasion by Ron White on March 5, 2005. The amphitheater was part of the conference center's 2004 expansion program. Initially called The Lecture Hall, the place was renamed in 2007 following financial and banking services firm Wells Fargo. Naming rights were bought by the bank in September 2006 for almost US$3 million, to get a interval; starting January 1, 2007.
